Is the Twilight Saga derived from supernatural inspiration?

Stephenie Meyer in her many interviews always answered the question, "Where did you get the idea for "Twilight"?" with the response,

"from a dream on the morning of June 2, 2003."

Interviews contain comments by Stephenie on how real that dream was to her. Comments that she could hear the young couple's voices in her head talking and she would rush to get down what they were saying. She alluded in one interview that she felt like she had been guided through the process of writing "Twilight." (A Motley Vision by Wm: 10-26-05.) She had difficulty accepting that Edward and Bella weren't real people and that she still doesn't entirely believe that. (Cynsations by Cynthia Leitich Smith 3-27-06.) And finally she said that she had an additional dream after she finished "Twilight" in which a disgruntled Edward visited her and took exception to the fact that she failed to portray him as a human blood drinker which he indeed was. She also noted that she was terrified of that Edward. (EW.com The "Twilight" Saga, Stephenie Meyer: 12 of my Twilight Inspirations by Karen Valby: 9-29-09, #12 Stranger than Fiction.) I could only find one interview with that particular comment. Perhaps she was so terrified she didn't want to think about the possibility that Edward is real but instead of a person maybe he is something more sinister.

Supernatural connection -- I think so. Our current world is rife with people stampeding to contact their spirit guide, Mother earth, aliens, demons, angels, you name it and someone is trying to contact it on this planet. The world seems to have gone mad in quest of the supernatural. What or who then is the pushing force behind this hunger for supernatural contact?

Ephesians 6:10-13 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

So, there is a day called "the evil day" and there are fleshless and bloodless principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places that we wrestle. All of these spearheaded by the devil, aka Satan or Lucifer.

Fleshless and bloodless - reminds one of the Cullens.

And for all intents and purposes I would say "the evil day" is here and only getting worse moment by moment!
