  The United States of America is at a burning crossroads and the Devil is trying to have his day here.  We are one of the last bastions of freedom and the ability to achieve greatness as individuals, which elevates all of us. At this crossroads, we will either freefall into chaos and anarchy, or  recommit to all that is good and right about this country. Right now there are black, brown, red, yellow and white voices shouting, burning, looting, murdering across America.  Their voices are saying, "America is a racist, capitalist, unfair monster that purposefully endeavors to keep the have nots down, poor and ignorant." There could be nothing further from the truth and the immigration both legal and illegal shout that truth.  Everyone and their brother clambers at the doors of America begging to come in.  No sane person would want to immigrate to a racists monster of a country.  Do you see people banging on the doors of China or Russia or Iran for entry? It seems such a long time ago now, that America was just going about her business.  Like every four years we had a Presidential Election.  The nation changed hands just like it had from inception.  The side that won, was happy the side that lost, was sad.  But, whatever, that is how it is every election.  The loser gripes and complains, then the new administration takes over and every thing pretty much settles down eventually.  We realize that we will have another chance to change the Commander in Chief in another four years.  So, life goes on . . .  Until 2016, when the amazing Donald Trump, trounces all politicians, strikes a chord with the American People and takes office.  Now it's 2020 and another election is around the corner.  And unlike other elections, the losers refused to get over it and so the circus started.  I actually, dislike circuses.  The animals make me sad and I don't like clowns. Happy Easter - He is Risen! This morning I enjoyed my coffee in the garden with Alex. The beautiful music of the sound of children laughing and playing caught the attention of both Alex and myself. I love that sound. Since COVID19, I have had the great pleasure of hearing the sound of children, laughing, playing, riding their bikes, skateboards, scooters. Walking with their parents and their pets up and down the hike and bike trail. This Easter Season as I contemplate the great gift of a Jewish Savior, the Messiah, the Passover Lamb, the One that takes away the sin of the world, Jesus Christ, I've also contemplated the great sin of our country. The realization that the music of millions upon millions of children has been silenced across our nation and the globe is a shadow we all bear. There are people who claim Christ as Lord and Savior and yet they not only condone, but vote year after year to silence the music of children. I can't help but wonder how

It's spring here in the deep south.  The trumpet vines and wisteria are blooming in the woods and our gardens are coming alive with Gerber daisies, amaryllis, dogwoods, azaleas.  The migratory birds and hummingbirds are showing up at our feeders and the hike/bike trail is filled with runners, walkers, bikers, husbands, wives, friends and families. It's spring break here too, and the beaches were just filled with tourist, but now they are barricaded and closed.  We've filled our freezer with meat and started our vegetable garden.  If we find toilet paper we buy what we can and make sure family and friends have some too.  In just a few short weeks life has totally changed with no end in sight. I can't help but think about 911.  In September it will be nineteen years since that event.  The greatest country in the world was brought to her knees.  Why is/was America the greatest country in the world?  Because God allowed us to become the most free, giving, wealth

The problem with the free stuff crowd - they fail to logically assess reality. Sure, free college, healthcare/Medicare, etc. for all sounds wonderful, but is it really possible here in a nation of 327 million people? According to the article below, the net worth of the US is only $105 billion. Now that may sound like a lot but not when the above free stuff is going to run into the trillions. At this point some may think, no way is the net worth of the US only $105 billion, there are tons of millionaires and billionaires in the US. True, but all net worth is based on what's left over after all liabilities are taken into account. Honestly, who really thinks that all the "WEALTHY" are just going to leave their money laying around for the government to "TAX" to give free stuff to everyone including illegal immigrants. So, in reality in just a few short years the wealth of our nation will plummet and we can all live in poverty together, without infras
