The last seven verses of the Book of Acts are some of the saddest to me and yet it was the most significant for me.  Specifically, these three verses Acts 28:26-28  Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive: 27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 28 Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it. This was the day that the nation of Israel was condemned from the mouth of Isaiah the prophet (Isaiah 6:9-13).  Paul repeated the words of Isaiah and blindness and deafness came upon the nation of Israel for the prescribed time.  The majority of the Jews would be unable to understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ their own

Jesus Christ rode the colt of a donkey into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday signifying that He came in peace.  The people welcomed Him with great joy and sang the prophetic words from Psalm 118:26 John 11:9 . . . Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord: Within the week Jesus would be crucified and become the Passover Lamb. Their Suffering Messiah come to take away the sins of the world.  Not the Conquering Messiah they expected and regaled with Hosannas. So, where was the peace in that? I Timothy 2:1-3 I exhort therefore, that first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;  Look around we are not living anywhere in the world like this!!  So, what did Jesus mean when He said John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I giv

Read this sermon, examine your heart and your life make sure you are a true Christian and not an "almost" Christian.  It is not by doing "Christian" things that we enter the Kingdom of God but by the Blood of Jesus Christ.  Make sure you have drank of the everlasting water.

I was blogging yesterday and as I was reading and researching it dawned on me how noisy Revelation is.  Chapter 4 of Revelation opens with John talking with a trumpet.  Verse 5 tells us that there are lightnings, thunderings and voices coming from the throne.  Verse 8 tells of the four beast who say "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come."  They say this day and night without resting.  Verse 10 the four and twenty elders worship him who sits on the throne.  Segue to Chapter 5, Verse 2 there is a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice.  Then John starts crying.  Verse 8 and 9 have harps and singing.  Verse 11 the voice of many angels around the throne plus the four beast and the elders and the number of the angels is ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands.  That's quite the uproar.  And then John said he heard every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, in the sea all saying "Blessing, and honour,

The lion is touted as the King of Beast.  Asses are at best important to only those who use them.  I can't recall ever seeing and exhibit of donkeys at a zoo but I certainly make sure to stop by and see the lions.  Disney has given us the Lion King but Donkey is Shrek's irritating talking sidekick which reminds us of Balaam's Ass in the Bible. Balaam's Ass is without a doubt the most amazing animal of the bible and of all history.  The account of Balaam's Ass is found in Numbers 22:23-33.  The Israelites had completed the Exodus from Egypt and were on their way to the Promised Land.  Israel was compelled to contend with many different nations along the way to the Promised Land.  The Moabites led by King Balak hired Balaam to curse the Israelites.  It is this incident that God allows Balaam's Ass to speak.  Balaam's Ass saw the Angel of the Lord and would not pass the Angel but turned aside each time.  It is important to note here that what the Ass actua

Once again I find myself practicing arrogant twittery!!  I did a review of the book "The Harbinger" and recommended the book. Then there was a firestorm of controversy over the validity of the book.  When I ordered the book I had no idea that it had been endorsed by the wolves in sheep clothing - i.e. Pat Roberston, Sid Roth and John Paul Jackson - if I had I probably would not have ordered the book in the first place.  Lesson learned. This is how I feel, if God chooses to deal with a rule breaking nation (which quite frankly, they all are) in the same way He dealt with ancient Israel, God is sovereign and can do what He pleases. I have recently heard clips of Jonathan Cahn citing the Zohar which is a mystical book of the Rabbis and has no place in biblical Christianity. If you decide to read "The Harbinger" then take it for what it is a fictional book based on an ancient biblical prophecy and no more. I believe America is under judgment just because

Two days from now all over the USA; Americans will fire up their grills, stock up on fireworks and sweat like crazy to celebrate the birth of our nation.  We will celebrate not only the birth but another nail in the coffin as our nation fades. The Supreme Court failed our nation once again as it refused to overturn "ObamaCare" or the new health care package purposed for all Americans.  The only honest thing it did was declare that; in fact, the new health care is a TAX.  Yes, the same TAX that Obama declared it was not and that there would be no tax increase to pay for the new health care.  Well, what planet is Obama from where new government programs are funded by something other than a TAX???  Even the post office can't fund itself despite providing a service to the public in exchange for money. Obama Care is also not for all of the public.  For instance Congress, The President, and all government employees have their own special health care.  WHY?  As an American I
