The 4th of July, The Supreme Court and the End of the American Way
Two days from now all over the USA; Americans will fire up their grills, stock up on fireworks and sweat like crazy to celebrate the birth of our nation. We will celebrate not only the birth but another nail in the coffin as our nation fades.
The Supreme Court failed our nation once again as it refused to overturn "ObamaCare" or the new health care package purposed for all Americans. The only honest thing it did was declare that; in fact, the new health care is a TAX. Yes, the same TAX that Obama declared it was not and that there would be no tax increase to pay for the new health care. Well, what planet is Obama from where new government programs are funded by something other than a TAX??? Even the post office can't fund itself despite providing a service to the public in exchange for money.
Obama Care is also not for all of the public. For instance Congress, The President, and all government employees have their own special health care. WHY? As an American I demand that if one American has to be subject to the new health care program then all Americans have to be subject to "Obama Care" including Obama and his family. Why should the American people fund through the TAXES we pay TWO health care programs. ONE for those special Americans in government employ and the SECOND for all Americans not in governement employ.
Do my demands matter -- perhaps on Planet Hummingbird where I rule supreme (at least in my own mind) -- but in the USA it seems Obama Planet has taken over and is peopled by His DRONES. And according to Websters Dictionary other than a drone bee -- a drone can either be 2. an idle parasite or loafer (can we say "Occupy America") 3. a pilotless airplane directed by remote control (Obama's on the controls of those Americans without a brain).
Of course Obama isn't the only President taking us down the path of dissolution - what about that Patriot Act - passsed during the George W. Bush era. Yes, I voted for Bush, now I just vote because it's my right but I think it is a wasted effort. We watched "Enemy of the State" with Will Smith and Gene Hackman the other day. I realized that now instead of the NSA, CIA, FBI having to tap into our electronic devices we willingly synchronize everything thing for them and tap into the satellites ourselves. The powers that be just simply have to pick up our feed from the satellites and towers. How easy we have made it for them. That doesn't even include our Facebook pages and Linked and all the other pages we can be a part of and sign up to.
So, AMERICA, enjoy this 236th Fourth of July, it may be the last one that we can AFFORD.
