Links to the Strange Sounds Being Heard Around the World

Image
A few months ago I heard a news report on strange sounds waking a town in Wisconsin night after night.  Here are some links that I found informative on those sounds. The first is Prophecy in the News. Included is a section from Flavius Josephus the Jewish Historian who lived at the fall of the second Jewish temple in 70 AD.  Josephus recorded an account of sounds and sights that were heard and seen in Jerusalem at that time. http://www.prophecyinthenews.com/videos/tv-program/ The next is a link to a You Tube Video that covers more than just the sounds coming from the sky.  However, this video references people like Nostradamus whom I give no credence to.  The bulk of the video though is a compilation of events going on around the world. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OnY3ICB1co The third link is a compilation of the sounds -- it's pretty short so persevere till the end. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9x3gb9k93oo&feature=related

A Further Word on "The Harbinger" by Jonathan Cahn

Image
I did not realize there was so much controversy over "The Harbinger," in Christendom.  I reread my review and found I had asked my readers to  If you are honest in your heart it will surely change your life and the way you perceive things. I broke my own rule about going by feelings.  I forgot that my heart is deceitfully wicked.  There is no way I can look to my heart to change my life and my perceptions.  The only thing I can look to is the Word of God it is the changer of my life and my perceptions. My personal feelings are of no value; but I will say this, I do not believe that we as a nation are exempt from God's judgment.  I also do not think a Christian is exempt from being blinded and deafened as the Jews were who rejected Yeshua the Messiah at His first coming. Christians are rejecting the Word of God and following wolves.  To me that is the same as rejecting Jesus Christ.  I believe that Christians who have been told the truth about the wolves but

The Unnamed Prophet, the Donkey and The Lion

Image
There is a story of an unnamed prophet in I Kings, Chapter 13.  I often puzzle over this story; curious to understand what it is teaching.  I am a really dense person and it takes me some time to understand a thing.  I am no theologian and I hope that you will conduct your own studies and not take my word because this is actually the teaching of the story. Here is the story in a nutshell.  God sent the unnamed prophet to King Jeroboam to prophesy that a king named Josiah would be born to the House of David and that this king, Josiah, would burn the bones of the priest who sacrificed at the heathen altar that Jeroboam had built in Bethel.  Jeroboam became angry and reached out his hand to command the unnamed prophet be taken, but Jeroboam's hand was dried up.  He asked the prophet to ask God to heal his dried up hand and God did.  The prophet had been instructed not to stay in that place, not to eat, drink nor come back the same way by which he had arrived.  So, he followed the

Update on Basics and Resources

Image
I first started this blog as a catharsis in response to a run-in with wolves in sheep clothing.  In the last three years I have moved from a place of pain to a place of resolve.  I resolve to never be deceived again. In order to achieve my goal I have gathered a group of resources.  First and foremost is my King James Bible.  Next is Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible (make sure you get one to match your version of the bible).  I also have Smith's Bible Dictionary and a Matthew Henry's Commentary.  I purchased a copy of The Kingdom of the Occult by Walter Martin, Jill Martin Rische, and Kurt Van Gorden. I also have several different versions of the bible in my library for reference and comparisons.  I have a Qur'an and a Kabbalah Decoder both of which drive me insane due to the inanity of content. Finally, I have found many sound bible teachers, apologists, trackers of current events and examiners of what can best be thought of as perhaps the fringe.

Sherlock Holmes A Game of Shadows

Image
I've always loved Sherlock Holmes. I have the whole volume of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. My husband and I were watching the new release on DVD last night and I was reminded of Chris Pinto's film "The New Atlantis - The Secret Beginnings of America's History." I've provided a link to Chris' film which is available on You Tube. http://http//www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-a9i0FCEqk We're busy trimming trees for hurricane season -- so I hope you will find Chris' film very informative. You might want to think about the truth behind the "Arab Spring" and what is currently going on in the EU in light of "The New Atlantis - The Secret Beginnings of America's History." What is the real message of "Sherlock Holmes A Game of Shadows?" You also might enjoy some of the content available on Chrisitan Worldview Network. http://http//www.worldviewweekend.com/worldview-radio/ Have a great day.

Wolves, Wolves Everywhere What's the Bride To Do?

Image
No, I'm not referring to the kind of wolves that whistle at a pretty girl. I'm referring to the wolves in Matthew Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. So, how do you know a wolf from a sheep? I've heard it said if you want to be able to discern the authentic from the counterfeit, study the authentic. The 10th Chapter of John is the discourse of Jesus on the sheepfold, the thief and robber, shepherd, sheep, the porter, a stranger, an hireling and the wolf. Study that chapter. Basically, this is what Jesus, the Good Shepherd, tells us - 1. The door is the only legitimate way into the sheepfold. 2. The thief and the robber climb up another way avoiding the door. 3. The one that comes through the door is the shepherd. 4. The porter opens the door to the shepherd. 5. The shepherd calls his sheep by name. 6. The sheep know the shepherd's voice. 7. The sheep do not kno

So, Really, Who is the Queen of Heaven

Image
According to Smith's Bible Dictionary, Queen of Heaven is the moon, worshipped as Ashtaroth or Astarte, to whom the Hebrew women offered cakes in the streets of Jerusalem. The only place in the Bible that the "queen of heaven" is mentioned is in chapters 7 and 44 of the Book of Jeremiah. Jeremiah's job as a prophet was to call Israel to task for their continuing worship of other "gods/goddesses" and to tell them of the destruction that God was bringing upon the nation. Israel as a nation who refused to listen. Eventually, the promised destruction came and into captivity they went at the hands of the Babylonians. So, if the "queen of heaven" is a pagan goddess then it stands to reason that the apparition that appears as the "queen of heaven" cannot possibly be Mary, the mother of Jesus. Nowhere in the New Testament is Mary ever referred to as the "queen of heaven." It is never recorded in the Bible that incense was burned

Entering the Gates and Courts of God

Image
Psalm 100 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. 2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. 3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. Where are the gates and courts of God? When I was a young woman we used to sing this Psalm during praise and worship. It was such a wonderful experience to sing God's word back to Him. So, all my life I thought that the gates and courts of God were in a heavenly place and that spiritually speaking I would enter to praise and make supplication/pray to God. Lately, though I have gotten into the habit of saying that 4th verse of the 100th Psalm before my personal devotions and prayer time. Then I begin to ponde

A Quick Word on "Horrible Bosses" and "The Change-Up"

Image
I attempted to watch both of these movies. Unfortunately, I regretted every minute spent trying to get to the place where surely it gets better. That moment did not arrive before my patience came to an end. I cannot honestly review either movie but I do give them both a 3 V rating -- VULGAR, VACUOUS and VOID of anything redeeming. I was astonished at the level of talent that lent themselves to complete trash. I was reminded by my sister that many Hollywood actors and actresses lost their shirts to Bernie Madoff -- I don't know if that is the case for these actors, but being broke can't possibly excuse the poor judgment of being part of the cast of these two movies. These movies were as empty, dry and cracked as the neighborhood pond in last years drought! Don't waste your time changing the channel to watch these movies. Whatever you do,don't pay for these movies

Snow White and The Huntsman a Review

Image
Yesterday, Sunday, June 3, 2012; my husband and I saw "Snow White and The Huntsman." We both enjoyed the movie but had differing responses. We both agreed the cinematography was excellent and the scenes in the Fairies Sanctuary were reminiscent of "Avatar." We both agreed that Chris Hemsworth was great as the Huntsman, but actually wasn't to far off from the character "Thor" which Chris also played. Sam Claflin, was great as William/The Bowman. The Dwarves, well who doesn't like dwarves, always a fun loving and talented group of rowdies. We disagreed about the female leads. My husband did not think Charlize Theron was mean enough for Ravenna. His words, "blonde and evil don't go together." Since he was a (now silver) blonde I think he's prejuidice in that area. And he did not think Kristen Stewart was beautiful enough for Snow White. Again, a male attitude. I personally thought Charlize did an excellent job portraying the e
