Wolves, Wolves Everywhere What's the Bride To Do?
No, I'm not referring to the kind of wolves that whistle at a pretty girl. I'm referring to the wolves in Matthew
So, how do you know a wolf from a sheep?
I've heard it said if you want to be able to discern the authentic from the counterfeit, study the authentic.
The 10th Chapter of John is the discourse of Jesus on the sheepfold, the thief and robber, shepherd, sheep, the porter, a stranger, an hireling and the wolf. Study that chapter. Basically, this is what Jesus, the Good Shepherd, tells us -
1. The door is the only legitimate way into the sheepfold.
2. The thief and the robber climb up another way avoiding the door.
3. The one that comes through the door is the shepherd.
4. The porter opens the door to the shepherd.
5. The shepherd calls his sheep by name.
6. The sheep know the shepherd's voice.
7. The sheep do not know the voices of strangers.
8. The sheep will flee from the stranger.
9. The hireling flees when he sees the wolf coming.
10. The wolf catches and scatters the sheep.
What do wolves do? There are 13 references in Strong's Concordance, for "wolf" there are 6 references and for "wolves" there are 7.

If you read my previous Blog on "Entering the Courts and Gates of God" you will know that I consider the written Word of God, the Holy Bible, to be Jesus Christ in ink on paper. You will also know that I consider the Bible to be the gate or in this instance the door to the courts or shall we say pasture. The sheepfold is where the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ, watches over His sheep and brings them in and out to pasture. The Porter's job is that of a watcher. He watches for the true Shepherd.
When you open your Bible your are grazing in the pastures of Jesus Christ, your Good Shepherd. The Watchers or Porters in the Body of Christ will always be watching for the thiefs, robbers and wolves. The thiefs, robbers and wolves are always trying to draw the sheep away through a back door. Their devices are many to draw you away from the good pasture and the Good Shepherd. They use your own greed, needs and lust. They beguile you with their dreams, visions and supernatural experiences and promise you the same.
Always remember this: you're going to find the wolves right in with the sheep and the lambs. They are greedy for dishonest gain. They want to devour your soul. After they have taken everything you have then they will gnaw on your bare bones.
They dress in sheep's clothing so you can't tell if they are standing right next to you until they take a bite out of your flesh. They divide the spoil among themselves, promoting each other as good and righteous sheep. In the end; however, they are false prophets who catch and scatter the sheep.
Don't forget the hirelings don't care for the sheep. Hirelings when confronted with a wolf always leave the sheep to the mercy of the wolf.
Look around, is there a wolf standing next to you? Have you been captured by a wolf?
How to tell if you have been caught by a wolf or led into wolf practices.
A good tracker knows the signs of the animal he is tracking - pawprints, fur, prey, haunts, etc.
