Sheep They're What's for Dinner -- "Yum! Yum!" said the Wolves!
Like many Christians across the globe my husband and I no longer attend church. In fact, we quit looking several years ago and turned to the internet. There we found a plethora of pastors preaching sound doctrine, discernment ministries exposing wolves and wide ranging discussions of the end times prophetic portions of scripture.
Month after month we have watched as these various internet icons have fallen to the dirt of their own unrighteousness - which as we all know -- all our righteousness is a filthy rag, all our hearts are deceitfully wicked and let God be true and every man a liar. I guess therefore, it is unrealistic to expect what is left of Christian leadership to stand without succumbing to their fallen human flesh.
In Texas we have a saying "Beef, it's what's for dinner!" The wolves have a menu too "Sheep, they're what's for dinner!" I feel like Bubba's shrimp menu in "Forest Gump" just replace shrimp with sheep and that's how we are being served up to the wolves.
I sit here and watch as the sheep pasture dries up like the physical drought that is covering the USA. What the body of Christ is being fed is about as appetizing as this rhino's dinner. I watch as formerly sound teachers, pastors whatever embrace things that were at one time taboo in Christianity. They are embracing/excusing sexual misconduct on every level, Mormonism, talking to the dead, but most of all they are succumbing to their inflated egos. Refusing to admit when they are wrong or made a mistake.
Since, "The Harbinger" came out I have watched ministries go at each other like wolves, not caring what their actions do to the sheep. Their egos are more important than people.
It is totally necessary to defend the faith but once you have made your point -- walk away from it -- I find it unfruitful to respond every time someone slings another stone or tries to defend their position. It is the gospel we are to defend not our position on some piece of second rate fictional literature.
If you've read "The Harbinger" you know it is poorly written and repetitive and yet here are discernment ministries trashing the Body of Christ while trying to defend their position on this tripe.
Those that defend "The Harbinger" claim it is a warning to the body of Christ to repent and God will save our nation. Well WHAT PLANET are they living on -- cause the one I'm on "EARTH" is DOOMED to the judgment of God. That judgment is coming on swift wings. Our nation can't be saved if all the Christians repent!!! Have they looked at the Christians lately!! They can't even get along with each other but they are claiming if all the Christians will repent that action will somehow save our nation.
I am a sojourner here looking for a city whose builder and maker is God - - THIS IS NOT MY HOME!!
Sheep you have got to be able to feed yourself to survive till the end. If you are not reading your bible on a daily basis (ps I don't read my bible everyday but I sure try) from cover to cover(!!) you may not survive.
I now completely understand why Jesus made the statement "Would He find Faith when He returned."
I feel so sad for people who are in roles of leadership.
When they forget that the sheep belong to God and He hears use crying day and night to Him there is a stricter judgment coming for them than for the sheep.
LOOK UP PEOPLE OUR REDEMPTION just got closer!!

Luke 18:7-8 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? 8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?I'm pretty sure He's just going to find a bunch of inflated egos ravaging His Sheep.
