Psalm 12 - The Faithful Have Vanished
1. Save, O Lord, for the godly one is gone; for the faithful have vanished from among the children of man.
2. Everyone utters lies to his neighbor; with flattering lips and a double heart they speak.
3. May the Lord cut off all flattering lips, the tongue that makes great boast,
4. those who say, "with our tongue we will prevail, our lips are with us; who is master over us?"
5. "Because the poor are plundered, because the needy groan, I will now arise," says the Lord; "I will place him in the safety for which he longs."
6. The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times.
7. You, O Lord, will keep them; you will guard us from this generation forever.
8. On every side the wicked prowl, as vileness is exalted among the children of man.


 
One day and hopefully soon, the faithful will vanish from among the children of man. Things look pretty bleak on this planet but for those of us who trust in the Lord - we are looking up for our Redemption is drawing nigh - Yeah Lord Come!

What is in a name? "Twilight's" name game.

Everything! The meaning of my name truly personifies me. I always like to arrange the meanings of names into a cohesive thought which by neccessity sometimes takes the name out of it's given order. Fortunate but bitter rope that constrains would be the cohesive meaning for my given names but it is in reverse order with my surname, middle name and first name last. So what is in the name Edward Anthony Masen Cullen. Edward is translated rich guard and while there was no clear meaning for Anthony the best I could find was flourishing. Masen is another spelling for Mason which means stone worker. Masons are actually a society of people with esoteric practices known only to its members. The true meanings of those practices are known only to the highest of initiates.
