Not voting, Christian? Standing on your moral high ground? Might want to rethink your position!

Voting is already taking place all over this nation! And we just have 21 days left to wrap up the next President.

So many people are claiming that they will stand down and not vote on moral high ground.

It puts me in mind of Matthew 22:20-22 And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? 21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's. 22 When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.

Now the context of this passage was a response to the Pharisees who were constantly trying to catch Jesus breaking the Jewish Law so they could have him killed.

I consider my right to vote to be rendering unto Caesar what is Caesar's. Anyone who knows even a thimble full of history will recall that Caesar (whichever Caesar was Caesar at the moment) considered himself to be a god.

And that's about where we are in American Politics - our Politicians have decided they are our god's.

Well I'm going to go and render my vote and get rid of the current "god."

God's design for humanity is government and I truly believe He expects us to exercise our right to participate in the governments He has placed us under.

Jesus Christ knew that He was going to be crucified by the Roman Government and yet He still said, "render unto Caesar what is Caesar." Paul appealed to Caesar when falsely arrested.

Until Jesus Christ, the Messiah, sets up His government on this planet we have to operate under the earthly human governments that are here.

Americans have had the great privilege of being the most free people on the earth. But our freedoms have been systematically stripped from us for decades. From removing prayer in school, to the unfettered murder of the unborn, being born and born. Now marriage has been thrown under the bus and they've already started indoctrinating our children into sexual perversion.  Three of these decision were made by a less than moral Supreme Court.  Much hangs in the balance.

So, you just have to say to yourself - is my moral high ground really moral?
