Drinking the Kool-Aid, while wearing rose colored glasses here in the USA!

Unless, you are of a certain age, or completed a study on the history of Christian Cults, you may not understand the reference to "drinking the Kool-Aid."  For those of you who don't know, it is a reference to the cult following of Jim Jones, who took his followers to Guyana and then had them drink Kool-Aid laced with poison.

Lately, I've been thinking about how easily we drink the Kool-Aid of Delusion here in the USA.  Maybe it is the same everywhere.  We want so badly to believe that our way of life will never end.  Trust me I would love to convince myself that life will just go on, but I am a realist.  A  Bible believing realist.  The one thing that is screamingly obvious, is we are on the verge of cataclysmic events.

Here people love Joel Osteen's sunny messages, Mitsubishi's commercials that tell us, really things aren't all that bad, so go buy a new Mitsubishi.  Politicians and political hopefuls keep banging away at the door begging for you to send them to Washington D.C., so they can have a great salary with great benefits and a fabulous retirement off your taxpayer $$$$$$$$s, while promising you they will get rid of the corruption and have your best interest at heart.

Yet, we walk out of the grocery store with 3 bags and wonder what cost $100 in those bag.  It cost two to three times the amount for us to have our cell phones, computers and cable or satellite networks than to heat and cool our homes.  We for the most part live in modern up to date homes but Lowes and Home Depot constantly tell us we need to renovate and remodel things that work perfectly well and we do it.

I can post funny things all day long on FB or to emails and get tons of LIKES.  But post something that is really happening that threatens our economy, nature rearing its head in the form of sinister storms of all types, things coming from space, animal kills etc.  And you don't hear a peep!

If I post serious biblically based sermons, or expose heretical teachings I get very little response if any at all.  People here in the USA want to feel good about ourselves, we don't want to hear about our sinfulness and our unrighteousness.  I guess no one does.  How can a person be led to repentance if they think that they are okay and their Best You Now and Best Life Now is the real goal?

Jesus chided the people of Israel for failing to discern the time and not recognizing the time of their visitation.

Luke 12:54-56 And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is.  55 And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass.  56 Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?

Luke 19:41-44 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,  42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.  43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,  44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

This world is falling apart globally around our very feet.  You would think that everywhere Christians would be crying for their fellow man to repent but those voices are few and far between.  Those few voices are just mentally patted on their backs and told "you poor thing."

One day soon the proverbial rug is going to be pulled from under humanities feet and literally all Hell is going to be loosed upon this earth.  Repent now before your window of opportunity is closed!

Don't be a Pharisee or Sadducee.

Matthew 16:1-4 The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.  2 He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.  3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather today: for the sky is red and lowring.  O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?  4  A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas.  And he left them, and departed. 

Are you not saved? are you in a church seeking all kinds of signs? are you in a seeker sensitive church feeling good about yourself?  Remove your rose colored glasses and look up the sky is red and lowring the foulest of weather is soon to be afoot.

TIME IS RUNNING OUT QUICKLY!!  The earth is being overwhelmed with the signs of the 2nd Advent of Christ so the Rapture is even closer than you think!  WAKE UP!!
