The Dividing Line Between Christian and Jew - The Diety of Jesus Christ - Part I

It is astonishing to me, that there are many Christians across the globe who do not believe the Biblical Truth concerning the Jewish people.  The Truth that God has a Covenant with the Jews that He will not break.  God according to His Own Word has unfinished business with the Jewish people and has brought them back into their land, the LAND He gave them, ISRAEL (see Ezekiel Chapter 37).  If Christians would simply READ their BIBLES and accept it at face value, they would see the truth.  Replacement theology, the thought that the Christian Church has replaced the Jewish people in God's covenant is a figment of a Satanic imagination.

It is also astonishing to me on the flip side of that same coin, that the Jewish people have not diligently studied God's Word to ascertain if Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, Jesus Christ, is the Mashiach and if indeed He is God in the Flesh and therefore, deity and divine.  However, considering the Prophet Isaiah's instructions from the Lord I should not be astonished.

Isaiah 6:9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

So, I pray that the blindness and deafness visited on the Jewish nation be lifted.  I now perceive that the Christians who do not rightly perceive God's Word are now experiencing the blindness and deafness that Isaiah prophesied over the Jews.  And I call you to repentance.  The fullness of the Gentiles is very apparent as more and more Jews come to recognize that Yeshua (Jesus) is the Ha'Mashiach (Messiah.)

Romans 11:24-27 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree? 25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be save: as it is written, There shall come out of sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

I will explore the topic of Yeshua's divinity starting in Genesis.

I will be using The King James version of the Bible unless otherwise noted.  I do not know the Hebrew language so I cannot read the text in the original language and will have to rely on the translation I am using and my Strong's Concordance.

The first thing one has to ask themselves, who is the "us" of passages such as

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:"
Genesis 3:22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil:"

Genesis 11:5-6 And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the children of men builded.  6 and the Lord said, Behold the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them which they have imagined to do. 7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.

Is the "us," God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit?  They said they would make man in their image.  The Trinity, what is it?  I am no theologian, nor am I a genius.  My pastor growing up explained The Trinity thus, we each have a body, which houses our spirit and our soul.

  • Our bodies were meant to be eternal but then the fall occurred.  Our bodies now decay and die and we are buried in the ground.
  • Our spirits are eternal and when we die they are released and either go to Heaven or to Hell.  Our  spirits are the part of us that the Holy Spirit of God strives with to bring us to redemption.
  • Our souls are our intellect and controls the actions of our body and is either in sync with our spirits or in conflict.
The Trinity would then be explained as God the Son, whom Christians identify as Jesus Christ, would be that body.  God the Holy Spirit would be that spirit.  God the Father would be that soul or intellect.  Just like our bodies separates from our spirits and souls upon death, but will reunite with us in eternity, so too, is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit one and the same, yet separate.  Since, God is the Eternal Creator whose ways are so far above our ways that we cannot fathom them (Isaiah 55:8-9); God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit can manifest and be independent, but still connected to one another in a way that humanity cannot comprehend.  A manifestation of God in scripture is referred to as a Theophany and a manifestation of Jesus Christ is referred to as a Christophany.   Also, in the scriptures anytime a supernatural being appears and allows themselves to be worshipped, that would be an example of either a Theophany or a Christophany.  Angels of God do not allow themselves to be worshipped.

God made us in His image.  We know from Genesis 2:7 that God formed Adam from the dust of the ground.  Adam had a tangible body that could be seen and touched.  God breathed into Adam's nostrils and he became a living soul.  Zechariah 12:1 tells us that God also formed the spirit of man within him.

Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and  man became a living soul.

Zechariah 12:1 The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
Adam has three parts - body, soul and spirit.  Therefore, God has to have three parts, body, soul and spirit.  Where/Who is that body?

Next issue the body of God.

Genesis 3:14-15 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou are cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:  15  And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel."

Anyone that knows the process of reproduction knows that there can be no life without an egg and a sperm.  So, what is meant by "her seed?"  The blood comes from the sperm not from the woman's egg.  And what is meant by "it" shall bruise thy head then turn around and refer to it as male, "thou shalt bruise "his" heel."  God refers to Himself in the male gender but God is not a sexual being.  Could the "it" refer to God in His deity form and "his" refer to Him in His Human Form?  That Form being Jesus Christ the promised Messiah.  This leads us to

Isaiah 7:13-14 And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also? 14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

So, we know that the human blood line that comes through the sperm of fallen man is polluted.  Nothing Holy can come from that polluted blood line.  Yet, according to scripture the seed of woman is going to bruise the head of the serpent (Satan).  How? Where is the blood going to come from?  How can a mortal man bruise a supernatural, powerful eternal being?  We need to go to

Luke 1:26-35 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. 28 and the Angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that are highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.  29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 30 and the angel said unto her, Fear not Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son and shalt call his name JESUS.  32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:  33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.  34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall over shadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

So, if the blood component of that conception came from the Holy Ghost and the power of the Highest, then it stands to reason the offspring would also be part of the Holy Ghost and the Highest and of course without sin.  The Passover lamb has to be without spot.
