confessions of a Christian Baal Worshipper

I've been so busy lately I haven't had time to blog.  But I came across this great video study in Revelation on You Tube.  I am providing the link to the first in the series.  I hope you enjoy.  If the link doesn't work for you just go to "You Tube" and do a search on Revelation Study #1 by Prophecy Update Videos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T474q1Sz1P0 God Bless - Keep Looking Up -- We are closer to the coming of Christ today than yesterday!

Recently, I had a run in with a person involved in the Hebrew Roots Movement.  This was not my first encounter with people following this movement. Before I go down this road it is only right that I put out a disclaimer.  First, in the pursuit of "God" I have done some crazy, crazy things.  I've been lead astray by the prosperity gospel, the signs and wonders movement, been in seeker sensitive and decree a thing.  I have danced myself into exhaustion while waving banners in hopes that a supernatural manifestation would occur.  I walked in circles praying in tongues hoping angels would show up. I have fallen for the liars that said gemstones, gold dust and feathers were falling from the sky.  I have to face facts, I'm just a gullible fool. So, when I say I thank Jesus Christ for having mercy on me and opening my eyes to my own foolishness, I am incredibly sincere!! Back to the Hebrew Roots movement.  My husband and I have participated in a co...

Anyone who studies bible prophecy knows that in the last days Gog of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, has a huge role to play concerning the Middle East and especially Israel.  The major biblical text concering this is found in Ezekiel Chapters 38 & 39.  Then who is Gog, where is the land of Magog and what/where/who is Meshech and Tubal.  For that information go to Genesis 10:1-2 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.  2 The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras. Most Biblical Scholars have come to a consensus that Gog, Magog, Meshech and Tubal's descendants settled in what is modern day Russia.  Johnathan Higgins at Radio Free Church has a sermon Who's Who in the Zoo which follows the descendants of Noah and where they migrated and settled after the flood.  http://www.radiofreechurch.co...

Comet Ison?  I just heard about Comet Ison approximately two weeks ago.   I've been googling it: conjectures, conspiracies and rhetoric abound. Is it a herald of the rapture and the beginning of the tribulation?  No one really knows for certain.  The only thing we can know for certain is that Jesus instructed us to know the seasons and the times.  Jesus informed us that there would be signs in the sun, moon and stars right before the 2nd coming of Christ at the end of the Tribulation. Luke 21:22, 25-28 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.  25  And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things, which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27 And then shall they see the...

Tuesday, we buried our beloved cat of 15 years, Jack.  He was a sweet and gentle companion and a ferocious hunter.  He loved to kill moles when we lived in Mississippi and rats here in Texas.  He was neutered and not particularly fond of fighting but would run off every cat that invaded his territory. Our 17 year old siamese was always giving him grief and didn't come to appreciate him till after all her other furry companions were dead.  She would still slap him about the face but he would grab her by his teeth and put her down then she would stop.  She's been looking for him since he died.  It is sad for all of us. We had left for vacation Sunday a week ago.  We knew he wasn't feeling well but he was eating, drinking and performing as normal.  We decided a week inside sleeping and eating would do him some good.  We came home Thursday night and he seemed fine just a little weight loss.  We debated whether to take him to the ...

Jacob Prasch has a teaching wherein he explains the momentum of biblical prophecy.  The first prophecy concerning Messiah was made in, Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.  that prophecy took thousands of years to finally come to pass Luke 1:26-35 . . . the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,  27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.  28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.  29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.  30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.  31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb...

I have been so blessed in my life.  The greatest blessing was and is my salvation.  I will never forget the day that the Holy Spirit convicted me of my sins and I ran weeping to the bottom of that stage.  There was no altar.  I got saved at a Christian Concert.  The singer was Sammy Hall.  The place was the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College gym.  The time was March 1976, thirty seven years ago.  That started the long never ending process of sanctification.  No, I will never be free of sin as long as I am in this earthly fallen body captured by gravity on this planet.  But I keep working towards the mark. What wearies my soul?  Like most people I have a FB page where I am connected to family and friends.  I have around 150 family and friends, more than I can track.  Since most are southerners raised in church, the majority claim Christ.  There is constant pages in various formats titled "Like" if y...
