When John, the Disciple, of Jesus transcribed the Book of Revelation surely his mind was blown with what he was seeing. Modern humanity sees those scenes constantly on our various media devices. In fact, our technology attest to the reality of the Book of Revelaiton. It's no spiritualized allegory by any stretch of the imagination. While my husband and I watched "The Avengers" this weekend I was arrested at the sight of the portal opening and realized that is probably how all humanity will see the face of God on the great day of His wrath. In Revelation 6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together;. . . it should be noted that heaven is singular in this verse. The question then is what exactly is heaven or the sky as it is used in this verse? As I have mentioned before there is another dimension inhabited by other beings, non-human beings. Have you made a pact with the Devil? Now you have decided you really don't want to forfeit your immortal soul for temporary things. The old adage you can't take it with you when you go has become up close and personal. The truth is you are an eternal being and no, you can't take it with you when you go. Maybe whatever it is you traded your soul for has turned to ash in your mouth and a burden on your existence. Perhaps you were convinced that there would never be a way out for you. Entering the Gates and Courts of God

Psalm 100 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. 2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. 3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. Where are the gates and courts of God? When I was a young woman we used to sing this Psalm during praise and worship. It was such a wonderful experience to sing God's word back to Him. So, all my life I thought that the gates and courts of God were in a heavenly place and that spiritually speaking I would enter to praise and make supplication/pray to God.
